Geneva Lux: The City Illuminates in Winter’s Glow

The Geneva Lux Festival 2026 returns from 16 January to 1 February 2026, bringing light, colour and movement to the lakeside city of Geneva. Every evening the streets, public spaces and waterfronts become illuminated with works of art created by artists from around the world.

Visitors can wander at their own pace or take a guided tour through a selection of installations that combine light sculpture, projection mapping and sound. The routes pass by the lake, through historic urban quarters and into parks where the interplay of urban architecture and winter skies creates a memorable spectacle.
