Les Gets Red Ski Show: Torchlight Descent
Red Ski Show: Torchlight Descent & Spectacle at Les Gets
The Red Ski Show takes place on the plaza at the Front de Neige in Les Gets, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil region. On select Mondays during the February school holidays the resort lights up at dusk when the ski instructors of the local ESF and the mountain services team stage a snow-sports spectacle full of movement, lights and emotion.
The evening begins with demonstrations of sliding techniques, a display of grooming machines and a rescue team showcase. The highlight arrives when dozens of torch-bearing skiers descend in formation down the slope dressed in red and gold lights. The moment is capped by a fireworks display that lights up the sky and reflects on the snow below.
Expect showtime at around 18:15 to 19:00 depending on the date, with exact times posted on the resort’s website. The show is free to attend and offers a memorable way to experience evening atmosphere in the village after a day on the pistes or simply as a standalone outing.
