La Thuile Transfers
Travelling from Geneva Airport to La Thuile is straightforward and scenic, typically taking around 2 hours. The route passes through three countries on your way to La Thuile. Firstly, Switzerlands city of Geneva before crossing the border into the French Alps offering spectacular views of Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak. Rutor Waterfalls
The Rutor Waterfalls (Cascate del Rutor) are a breathtaking example of alpine grandeur and well worth the journey. These falls are fed by the towering Rutor Glacier, cascading in three dramatic stages over a combined 700 m drop—the tallest glacial waterfall system in Italy .
The thunderous flow, especially in late spring and early summer, carves through rugged cliffs, framed by misty spray and lush mountain vegetation .
Accessible for most: The first waterfall is reachable within 20–30 minutes on a well-marked trail from La Joux. The full hike to all three falls takes about 1–1½ hours uphill, with around 400 m elevation gain—moderate but rewarding, a peaceful retreat into nature—perfect for hikers, families, and anyone craving a mountain adventure .

Lago Verney & Lago d’Arpy
Lago Verney
A gentle 30-minute stroll from the Petit St Bernard Pass up to 2,088 m, Lago Verney is the Aosta Valley’s largest glacial lake. Its emerald-green waters reflect soaring Alpine peaks, offering a peaceful yet awe-inspiring setting and perfect for all ages.
Lago d’Arpy
Situated at around 2,066 m near Colle San Carlo, Lago d’Arpy is a pretty glacial lake surrounded by larch forests and majestic peaks such as Mont Charvel and Becca Pouegnenta. A gentle, shaded one-hour walk with just 115 m elevation gain makes it ideal for families with young children.
