White Weekend in Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc: Discover Snow, Well-being and Alpine Fun
Every year the resort of Saint Gervais Mont-Blanc throws open its slopes for White Weekend, a two-day celebration of winter discovery, sport and well-being. For the 2026 edition the event takes place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January, bringing together skiers, walkers and anyone keen to taste mountain life in a friendly setting.
Over 30 activities are offered free of charge across the ski area, including snow-shoe treks, introductions to ski-touring, avalanche search (DVA) workshops and yoga on snow. Children and families are very much part of the fun with parallel slaloms, laser-rifle games and even the chance to climb into a piste-groomer. The morning starts crisp and clear, the afternoon drifts into golden light, and all the while the views of Mont Blanc remain stunning.
The wellness element adds a touch of luxury: the local hot-spring baths host a pop-up “well-being village” where you can enjoy short massages, herbal tea and gentle yoga facing the peaks. Whether you’re gliding through fresh snow or simply soaking in the atmosphere the White Weekend offers a memorable mix of energy, calm and alpine charm.
