Les Contamines Christmas Market: Alpine Magic Meets Festive Cheer
The Les Contamines Christmas Market invites you to browse artisan stalls, sip something warm and take in a festive village scene beneath the Mont Blanc peaks takeing place in the heart of the village (Espace Animation, 74 chemin des Ecoles) from 20 to 22 December 2025, each day from 10:00 to 19:00.
Set against a backdrop of snow-covered cottages and the Mont Blanc range, this market brings together local producers and craftspeople offering handmade presents, regional specialities and seasonal treats. Visitors wander wooden chalets, sample honey and alpine cheeses, browse woollen goods and soak in the gentle sparkle of village lights.
The market is set at around 1,176m elevation, giving you views of snow-dusted rooftops and the valley beyond. As you stroll, you’ll find cosy corners to pause for a hot drink and soak in the seasonal atmosphere. For full details visit the
